About the Author

Jonathan Sacs is a Senior Broadcast Journalist and former News Editor at the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation, where he has spent more than two decades covering some of the defining stories of the Rock's modern history.

His work has taken him to the United Nations in New York and Geneva, the European Parliament in Brussels, 10 Downing Street in London and the Heritage Foundation in DC.

He has produced feature documentaries such as The Long Shadows, Lessons from the Shoah, a three-part series on Auschqitz and the Holocaust, as well as the epic history documentary 60 Years of News. He has also anchored debates and live broadcasts.

His work has appeared on Sky News, BBC News, ITN and PA News. He studied Journalism, Film and Broadcasting at Cardiff University, where his fascination with storytelling, in all its forms, first took root.

The Chronicles of the Severance is his debut fantasy trilogy. It is the project he has been building toward his entire life. Jonathan is based in Gibraltar. He is also a musician, painter, and collector of antique books.
